Good morning, everyone. I’ll be honest—I am not feeling my best today. In fact, both Liam and I have been absolutely miserable. We had a great time celebrating his birthday yesterday, but we must have eaten some bad food because we’ve both been sick since the middle of the night. Liam has been puking non-stop, and I’ve been stuck running to the toilet.
Despite feeling like death, I have no choice but to get moving. We have a mountain of "adulting" and paperwork to handle before our big trip to Manila on November 2nd. Jessa needs her driver’s license, our marriage papers, and a few other documents from the mountain house so she can get things sorted in the city. Originally, I was going to take Liam with me, but since he’s still so sick, Jessa is staying behind to look after him while I make the trek up the mountain.
The drive up to Ginatilan was a struggle. I had to take a break halfway just because I felt so ill. During that break, I made the mistake of reading some comments on Jessa’s recent video. People were asking for a public apology from me, but I’ll tell you now—that’s not happening. What needed to be said has been said to Jessa privately. We’ve agreed on a path forward, and that’s all that matters. There’s a lot of talk about how I should "clean up" more, but honestly, I have no problem keeping a place clean. The issue is more about the different ways Jessa and I live. I’m a "clean as you go" type of guy, and we’re working on finding a middle ground.
I finally made it to the mountain house, and it was a bit of a slippery, muddy mess getting inside since I didn't have my boots. I managed to find the papers we needed—marriage license, driver’s license, and all that fun stuff. I also saw Cyrus, whose mom is currently working in the city. It’s always good to see the family, even if it’s a quick visit.
Now, we’ve made it to Cebu City and checked into a hotel. I asked for a double bed, but we ended up with two singles, so I’m currently "redecorating" the room by pushing the beds together for Liam’s safety. The hotel is nice—it even has an indoor pool—and it’s only about four or five years old. I’ve got about three hours of work to finish tonight, including publishing articles and shipping some products to Norway.
Tomorrow, Jessa and I are splitting up. She’s going to practice for the Halloween show she’s hosting in Ginatilan, and Liam and I are heading back to my place for four nights of "boys' time." We’ll do some cleaning, play some games, and I’ll get some more work done before the Big Show and our flight to Manila. It’s going to be a busy few days, but I’m looking forward to it.
Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one!
