If you are looking for that postcard-perfect tropical scene, Cambugahay Falls in Lazi is the place to be. It is one of the most famous spots on the island for a very good reason—the tiered cascades and that distinct, milky-blue water are absolutely stunning in person.
It has been about 3 months since our last visit, and even though Jessa and I have been here a couple of times before, it never fails to impress us with its natural beauty.

The Experience & Vibe
This is a destination built for pure fun, relaxation, and capturing great island photos. The entire canyon is incredibly lush and scenic.
  • Swimming & Fun: The water is beautifully cool and refreshing—the perfect antidote to beating the Siquijor heat. If you are feeling adventurous, there are local bamboo rafts you can ride on, plus several rope swings available if you want to make some classic "island life" cliff-jumping memories.
  • Accessibility Note: Just a heads-up for anyone visiting—there are quite a few steep stone stairs to get down to the falls (and back up!). Be prepared for a bit of a leg workout on your way out!

The Verdict
Cambugahay Falls is a non-negotiable "must" for any Siquijor itinerary. It is an amazing spot to spend a few hours swimming, swinging, and relaxing under the canopy. Because it is so beautiful, it definitely gets busy with tourists, but there is usually more than enough space spread across the different tiers for everyone to find their own little corner of paradise.
