If you’re planning a trip to Siquijor and find that most of the popular beach resorts are fully booked, don’t panic! Jessa and I recently stumbled upon Stella’z Guesthouse in San Juan. This great little spot proved that you don’t need a massive luxury resort budget to have a highly comfortable stay on the island.

Price & Value
Stella’z Guesthouse is a fantastic budget-friendly alternative to the pricier resorts in the area. Their room rates actually start around 1,200 PHP per night, but we decided to go for an upgraded room at 1,800 PHP per night.

The Room
The accommodation felt like a peaceful little oasis after a long day on the road. Here is what really stood out to us:
  • The Bed: It was surprisingly comfortable—perfect for resting up after a long day of exploring Siquijor's coastal roads on a scooter.
  • Amenities: The room featured a brand-new air conditioning unit that was impressively quiet, which is a huge plus for light sleepers. It also came with a small TV that had Netflix built-in for those evening winding-down hours.
  • The Vibe: It is a clean, simple, and very functional space with an excellent, positive energy.

The Verdict
While it might not be a five-star luxury resort, Stella’z Guesthouse is a solid, quiet choice in a premier location. It has been about 3 months since our stay here, but if you want to save your money for island experiences rather than just an expensive place to sleep, this San Juan spot is a clear winner.
