If you are looking for a cool, relaxing spot to unwind with a few cold beers and a solid meal in Siquijor, Baha Restobar in San Juan is definitely worth checking out.
The atmosphere here is generally wonderful—very laid-back, cozy, and perfect for island nights. Plus, they feature live music most nights of the week, which adds a great local vibe to the dining experience.

The Food & The Seafood Platter
The food here can be quite decent. On our particular visit, we decided to splurge on their massive seafood platter. For the most part, it was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor! Unfortunately, it seems we caught a slightly off batch of clams that evening, which led to some unexpected tummy issues for us the next day. It's a common island hazard, but the actual preparation and taste of the food were otherwise great.

The All-You-Can-Eat Buffets
Baha Restobar is famous for its special all-you-can-eat buffets, though our timing wasn't the best on this trip. The staff informed us that the buffet was temporarily unavailable because it was "out of season," but they assured us it would be back once the tourist season picks up again.
  • Expat Insight: Jessa and I have managed to catch their buffet on previous trips to Siquijor! One thing to note is that they tend to serve the premium main dishes directly onto your plate in smaller portions, while you are free to serve yourself as much of the cheaper side options as you want.

The Verdict
Keep in mind that it has been about 3 months since our last visit, but overall, Baha Restobar remains a fair and enjoyable spot. Given that San Juan is a popular tourist area, the pricing here isn't overly bad at all. It is a fantastic place to hang out, listen to some live tunes, and enjoy the island nightlife.
