Siargao Travel Tips: What Has Changed Recently?

Siargao has transformed incredibly over the last few years 🌴. While I was lucky enough to experience the island in the past, it has been too long since my last visit to give you guys an accurate, up-to-date review of how things look right now.

Between new boutique resorts popping up, the ever-changing food scene in General Luna, and how the island has bounced back recently, I know my old knowledge is completely outdated. We want to build a reliable guide here on VibePinas, so I am turning to our members who have visited more recently🏄‍♂️.
If you have been to the surfing capital lately, please start a new thread to catch us up:
  • The Vibe & Crowds: Is General Luna getting too crowded, or does it still hold that classic island charm?
  • Food Scene: What are your absolute favorite restaurants, cafes, or hidden local spots to eat at right now?
  • Beyond Surfing: For members who don't surf, what are the best land tours, island-hopping trips, or secret spots worth checking out?
  • Current Prices: How expensive has the island gotten lately when it comes to scooter rentals, accommodation, and daily food?
Whether you spent a weekend there or a couple of months, let us know your honest thoughts and recommendations!
