After spending a lot of time out in the province building our house, stepping into the bright, high-energy environment of the new Cebu Fun Park right next to SM Seaside was quite the contrast! Jessa, Liam, and I recently spent an evening here, and it is a fantastic new addition to the city's entertainment scene.

The Atmosphere: A Taste of Europe
First off, the design of this park looks world-class. It has a distinctly European feel that immediately reminded me of the amusement parks back home in Norway and Sweden. While it looks impressive during the daytime, the park completely transforms after sunset. The gorgeous LED lighting setups turn the entire place into one of the most vibrant, photogenic spots in Cebu right now.

The Pricing Strategy: Unbeatable Value
The absolute biggest selling point here is the ticket structure. We paid around 400 to 450 PHP for entry, and the best part is that all the rides are completely free once you are inside! For a family traveling on a budget, this is an incredible value. You don't have to worry about expenses adding up every time your kid wants to jump on another carousel or ride.

The Catch: The Crowds & Wait Times
Because the pricing is so affordable, the park is absolutely packed. This was the biggest hurdle for us during our visit. We faced grueling wait times of 40 to 50 minutes for a single ride. While I am used to those kinds of theme park lines back in Europe, it was definitely a major test of patience for Jessa! If you are planning a trip, be sure to bring your "patience cap" and plenty of water, because you will be doing a lot of standing around.

The Verdict
Is it worth a visit? Absolutely. Even with the long lines, seeing Liam’s pure excitement made every minute of waiting worth the trip. It is a brilliant, budget-friendly way to spend a fun evening in Cebu City.

  • Go for the Night Vibes: The park is significantly more magical after sunset when the lights are fully glowing.
  • Eat Before You Enter: You definitely don't want to be "hangry" while standing in a 40-minute queue!
