VibePinas Community Guidelines

Welcome to the VibePinas Community! 🌴

This platform is my official personal side project—a 100% free social space for expats, travelers, and locals to share insights, read reviews, watch travel vlogs, and build genuine, lifelong friendships centered around the Philippines.
To keep our community safe, clean, and fully compliant with family-safe advertising standards, every single member must follow these core rules. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in immediate profile deletion and a permanent IP ban.

1. We Are NOT a Dating or Matchmaking Site
VibePinas is a travel blog and cultural social network. We strictly prohibit any form of commercial matchmaking, mail-order bride solicitation, romance fraud, or sponsorship seeking. Do not create a profile or post threads looking for romantic partners, marriage migration, or financial support.
Our community space and directory are strictly for finding:
  • Online penpals and cultural exchange
  • Travel companions and road-trip buddies
  • Local expat guides and lifestyle advice
  • Friends to grab a beer with and share good Pinas vibes!

2. Manual Profile Verification
To keep out automated bots, fake profiles, and scammers, I manually review and approve every single new account before it goes live. Any profile using fake names, stolen photos, or suspicious details will be deleted instantly.

3. No Spam or Commercial Advertising
Do not use our forums or private messaging features to blast members with affiliate links, commercial offers, or unauthorized business promotions. Please keep all discussions focused on helpful travel tips, lifestyle advice, and cultural exchange.

4. Keep It Safe and Respectful
We maintain a family-friendly environment. Absolutely no adult content, pornography, sexually explicit language, or illegal material is allowed anywhere on this site. Treat all members with respect—hate speech, harassment, defamation, and bullying will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

5. Bars, Cafes & Socials Etiquette
When discussing evening entertainment or nightlife in the Philippines (like Cebu's Mango Avenue or Manila's social hubs), keep conversations focused on the food, music, socializing, playing pool, and fun group hangouts. Any discussions promoting illicit activities or inappropriate services are strictly banned.

6. Report Bad Behavior
Help me keep VibePinas a great place to hang out! If you receive a suspicious private message or see a forum post that violates our guidelines, please use the Report button or contact me immediately via the website contact form.
