What Will I Do For Jessa's Valentine's Day This Year

What Will I Do For Jessas Valentines Day This Year

Good afternoon and welcome back to VibePinas! Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone out there. If you’ve been following our journey, you know I’m not exactly the most "romantic" guy by nature—birthdays and holidays aren't really my thing—but Jessa loves them, so I make sure to step it up for her.

My mission started early in the morning while Jessa and Liam were still fast asleep. I headed down to the local market to hunt for some fresh fruit. My goal was simple but effective: a proper Valentine’s breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, juice, and, of course, plenty of coffee. I wanted to have it all set up and looking "fancy" before she even opened her eyes.

When she finally walked through the door, I think she was genuinely surprised. I even managed to set the table properly—a rare feat for me! I told her I can manage to be this good exactly once a year, so she’d better enjoy it. Liam joined us shortly after, looking as handsome as ever. He seemed more interested in the food than the romance, which I can totally relate to. I even made sure he had some chicken and yogurt for his breakfast, though he eventually tried to "steal" some of Mama’s treats.

But the breakfast was just the warm-up. I had a little surprise tucked away in the corner of the room. I’d picked out a necklace and a set of earrings for her. Seeing her reaction made all the early-morning market runs worth it. I even wrote a few notes for her—which was a challenge since my handwriting is basically a secret code—but she eventually decoded them. One of the notes mentioned that since our love has survived both "good times and hard times," I was giving her the "key to my heart." It might have been a bit much because she actually got a little emotional!

The notes also had a practical side. I told her that since Liam needed new shoes and I knew how much she loves shopping, our plan for the day was to head to the mall. We originally thought about hitting the beach, but the weather wasn't quite playing along, and honestly, a shopping trip is Jessa's version of a perfect day anyway.

After I finished up some work in the afternoon, we piled into the car for a "surprise" trip to Super Metro and Gaisano. It didn't take long for Jessa to be spotted—she and Liam ended up taking photos with fans who worked at the mall. We found Liam some great new shoes, and he loved them so much he started crying when we tried to take them off to pay! We ended up just leaving them on him and cutting the tags. Seeing him walking toward me in his new "big boy" shoes was definitely a highlight.

We wrapped up the mall trip with a meal at a restaurant where we let Liam "order" for us. We ended up with some delicious fish and soup. Liam also got a mango shake, though he wasn't too keen on sharing it with Mama.

The day ended on a really high note when we got back home. Our neighbor’s husband was serenading her with romantic songs, which was a beautiful moment to witness. Naturally, Jessa and the neighbor ended up turning it into a full-blown karaoke and dance session. Jessa was in her element, singing and dancing, and honestly, seeing her that happy is the best Valentine's gift I could ask for.

We’re finishing the night the way we like best—settling in to watch something on Netflix before heading to sleep.

Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one!
