The Case Of A Bad Landlord And Worse Caretaker (2 Episodes)

Part 1: The Frustration
The Case Of A Bad Landlord And Worse Caretaker

I’m sharing a deeply frustrating experience we’ve had with our rental in Cebu City. We’ve been dealing with a landlord and a caretaker who simply refuse to take responsibility for the broken appliances and poor maintenance of our unit. It’s incredibly stressful, especially with Jessa’s pregnancy, to feel like we are being taken advantage of while paying for a place that isn't up to standard. Dealing with the logistics is one thing, but being treated unfairly in your own home is another. It’s a tough situation, but we’re standing our ground and looking for a better way forward for our family.

Part 2: We Are Leaving

I’m showing you the transition as we move out of our temporary condo in the city. While it’s been a roof over our heads, I’ve never hidden how much I dislike the city noise and pollution. This move is a step toward getting closer to our mountain goals in Ginatilan. We’re packing up our lives—including all the baby gear for Liam—and dealing with the typical chaos of city logistics. It’s a bittersweet moment of leaving convenience behind for the peace and "free aircon" of the mountains that we truly love, but with how this condo building is being run, we just had to get out.
