Hey everyone!

Mabuhay and a massive welcome to VibePinas.com! 🏝️

Now that our doors are officially open for registration, I wanted to jump into the introductions section to say a huge hello and introduce myself. 🤝

I built VibePinas to be a true home for global travelers, expats, and locals who share a deep love for the Philippines.

I am running this platform entirely as a one-man operation, and I am incredibly excited to build a vibrant, safe, and completely free space where we can swap island travel tips🌴, share awesome stories, and—most importantly—build genuine, lasting friendships and find travel buddies to explore this beautiful country with!

As we gear up for our big full launch, I want this community to feel like a warm beachside meetup. Whether you’re an expat navigating life in Manila, a digital nomad catching waves in Siargao, a traveler counting down the days until your first flight over, or a local proud to showcase your beautiful hometown, you belong here!

Because I run this site entirely by myself, I take the safety of our community very personally. 🔒 To keep VibePinas full of real people and good energy, I manually review and approve every single registration myself to filter out bots, scammers, and fake profiles.

I assume the page will need some time to grow first, which is completely fine! But if we grow big enough down the road and the workload gets to be too much for one person, I will definitely put up a post looking for help moderating. If anyone is interested in becoming a forum moderator or helping review new profiles in the future, keep an eye out for that down the line!

For now, though, it's just me keeping the gears turning.
