#1 Base Fare Hike (oct 3)

Starting October 8 there will be a one peso increase both in modern and traditional jeepneys fare and according to the LTFRB this is just temporary until they have set up schedule to hear the petitions of all the drivers and operators with having a five peso increase in transportation fare bcoz of the continuos increase in diesel and gasoline price the petitioners claim it is just fair that they demand an increase in fare aside from the maintenance of their vehicle ...and for ordinary commuters this is another burden again that they have to cope with

This is expected already because of the war in Israel. Everyone is suffering. But its just too hard here in the ph because the salary here is so low. So many people will suffer more

Yep sis mich is right. Because of the war i think. This kind of news is really a pain in the ass. Makes me worry more because everyday i commute.
